Babington’s Tea Room is a specialty tea shop and restaurant that has a rich history of providing quality English tea and delicacies to those traveling in Rome. Located at Piazza di Spagna 23, next to the Spanish Steps, Babington’s Tea Room follows the tradition set in 1893 by offering delicacies to enjoy while drinking traditional English tea, as well as a restaurant with a full menu if you are looking for more than just a snack. You may buy tea sets and tea accessories in the store for a gift or to keep, and stayin the tradition of good English tea while in Rome.
I love Babingtons! It’s one of the best tea rooms I have ever enjoyed. Whenever I am in Rome, I visit a few times. The tea is exceptional, the scones are incredible, the salad nicoise is delicious. They serve champagne and sandwiches and a wonderful rum cake. The ambience is charming and timeless! The silver cat tea pot (I bought one for home) is gorgeous. The location is perfect… stop by the Keats Shelley house afterwards!
