Another one of those restaurants you just will love in Rome, is Il Tiepolo, on via Flaminia.
One of the most casual restaurants and at the same time one of the most exquisite I know.
If you only have twenty minutes available for your lunch break in-between one meeting and the next, this is the place to go. At Il Tiepolo, you can find every sort of food, especially light dishes which won’t make you want to take a nap after lunch.
Among the appetizers my favorite is Skagen, which is made of half avocado mixed with creamy Greek yogurt and shrimps. The Tzazichi is my other favorite dish to start with, made of raw carrots and celery and a bowl of creamy yogurt . Just choose their all delicious.
The special plate of the restaurant are oven baked potatoes filled with everything from salmon, to truffle cream, and Porcini mushrooms. Finally the salad menu makes you want to try every single one of them, because Tipeolo is the temple of Vegans and Vegetarians.
To end your night as a fairy tail, your welcomed to try the carrot cake with almonds and yogurt, one the best I’ve ever tried.
