Piazza Farnese

Piazza Farnese is definitely one of the most amazing squares in Rome, dominated by Farnese Palace (Palazzo Farnese); it is a masterpiece from the Renaissance period that currently houses the French embassy. The palace was built by the Farnese family in 1517, and was later embellished by Sangallo the Younger, Michelangelo and Giacomo della Porta. If you are looking to tour Palazzo Farnese, you need to book early; at least 1 month before you visit. For more information feel free to call 06 6889 2818.
